當我們乘著一艘船，也許便能在水面上，長久漂浮於今日與明日之間。
《微醺之舟》源自藝術家橫尾拓郎（Takuro Yokoo）榮獲日本「萱藝術競賽」昭和藏賞後，受邀前往日本長野縣千曲市，擁有400年歷史的酒藏「坂井銘釀」進行駐地創作。他從酒廠的歷史與風土民情中汲取靈感，將酒藏視為一個有機演化的建築空間。而日本酒則像是一種吸收微生物與周遭環境、持續呼吸與發酵的「記憶之液」。以石版畫與空間裝置回應酒藏的建築結構與時間痕跡，在歷史與當代、有形與無形之間，展開一場關於場所、時間與記憶的微醺體驗。
延續若木藝廊《複數的風景》對版畫作為創作媒介之可能性的探討，本次展覽特別邀請橫尾拓郎來台展出，將他的版畫實踐帶入另一種具有時間與地域記憶的文化場域。日本酒藏不只是釀酒的場所，更承載著土地、氣候、微生物、勞動與世代累積的時間；而版畫同樣透過刻劃、轉印與重複的過程，將身體的動作與時間留下痕跡。兩者皆在反覆之中生成，也在時間的累積中形成獨特的質地。本次展覽希望從版畫與日本酒藏文化的交會出發，探索兩種看似不同的媒介與文化如何共享一種溫潤、醇厚而緩慢的時間感，並在紙面與空間之間，展開一場關於記憶、場所與感知的對話。
Drawing inspiration from the brewery’s history, local culture, and environment, Artist Takuro Yokoo regards the sake brewery as an organically evolving architectural space, while sake becomes a “liquid of memory”—absorbing microorganisms and its surroundings as it continuously breathes and ferments. Through lithographs and spatial installations, he responds to the architecture and traces of time embedded in the brewery, creating a tipsy encounter between history and the contemporary, the tangible and intangible, and place, time, and memory.
Continuing exploration of printmaking in Landscapes in Multiplicity, we are honored to invite Yokoo to bring his practice to Ruomu Gallery and explore the relationship between printmaking and the cultural heritage of Japanese sake breweries. Both printmaking and sake brewing are processes shaped by repetition, transformation, and the accumulation of time. Through their encounter, the exhibition explores a shared sense of warmth, depth, and slowness, opening a dialogue between image and space, memory and place.
